KAZIMIR COLLARS AND LEADS

My collars are handmade using either 1.5”or 2” strong nylon webbing as the core, covered with either pre-washed 100%cotton, Grosgrain or Jacquard Woven Ribbons. I only use premium hardwarewhether that is Solid Cast Brass or Premium Welded Nickel D-Rings and Brass orNickel Plated Zinc Slides for the Martingale Collars or Solid Cast Brass andSolid Cast Nickel Plated O Rings for the Slip Collars. The collar is doubletriple stitched at pressure points to make it as strong as possible, as well asthe D Ring is sewn in tightly so that it doesn’t spin.

Cottons and Ribbons are sourced fromAustralia, the U.S or from England and the velvet is Swiss Velvet. I try andfind the most interesting, stand out patterns so that your Whippet will have acollar and/or lead that is truly special.

Pleasenote that my collars (either Martingale or Slip) are not to be left on yourWhippet when they are unsupervised or unattended.

MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS:

When measuring your Whippet for aKazimir collar please measure the circumference of your Whippets head (justbefore their ears) as well as their neck circumference (at the widest point).
Please do not allow for any adjustments, as I will do that for you.

If you are unsure of the right collar to purchase for yourwhippet please contact me so that I can try and answer your questions to thebest of my ability based on how you describe your Whippet’s activity level anddaily life.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

My different styles have different washing instructions, if youare unsure how to wash your collar please contact me J
My cotton collars can be gently hand washed with cool water using a phosphatefree washing powder (Free of whiteners), and then should be allowed to air dryin the shade (so the colour doesn’t fade).
Beaded collars or other special collars should be spot treated with a spotremover (Without bleach or Whiteners)

Velvet Leads can also be washed by handusing a washing powder free of whiteners. The best way to remove hair from thevelvet is to use a damp cloth and rub it over the lead.

EXCHANGE/RETURN:

If you have measured your Whippet incorrectly and realize oncethe collar arrives that it doesn’t fit, I will refund the price of the collar(minus postage price) to you once the collar has been sent back unused. In theextremely rare case that you find a defect in construction, please contact meimmediately and I will refund your collar or offer a replacement.

It is however important to check your Whippets collar for signsof potential problems such as damage (make sure your Whippet hasn’t chewedtheir collar) or wear. Wear and tear can be reduced if you own more than onecollar that you switch around on a regular basis. My collars are more showy andtherefore would be better used at special occasions to prolong their life (Youwouldn’t wear your best show suit day in, day out) If you choose to use mycollars as everyday collars they will wear more quickly.

Thank you, Jill
